During the month of October the soil preparation and wheat and barley sowing is in full swing. The weeds start their growth simultaneously with the growth of wheat and barley and thus cause damage. The damage consists of taking up of the space necessary for the cultivar growth, using up of the nutrients from the soil and of water, overshadowing of the cultivar being cropped, etc. The damaging effect results in decreased yield, that is, income. In order to properly protect plant systems against weeds, the use of the herbicide TORNADO is recommended, which is applied after sowing but before emergence in the amount of 1.5 – 1.74 l/ha.
Tornado is an efficient herbicide having two active substances, protecting the crops from various weeds. It is not washed out from the soil so it can be used in autumn. It is active against the weeds even 6 months after the spraying.
By using Tornado, you will be able to observe the development of your crops without any weed vegetation.
