Insecticide with a broad spectrum of activity

MOSPILAN 20 SG is a new foliage-applied insecticide of the neonicotinoid group. The active ingredient disturbs the transfer of impulses in the nervous system of pests differently from organophosphorus, carbamate and pyrethroid insecticides. Therefore
MOSPILAN 20 SG also acts on pests that have partly or completely become resistant to the above-mentioned insecticides. MOSPILAN 20 SG acts extremely systemic and translaminar and is hence evenly distributed in the plant so as to provide long-term protection in small quantities.
The insecticide and local systemic MOSPILAN 20 SG is used to control the following pests:
- in potato: Colorado potato beetles (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), when the majority of larvae is at the L1 and L2 stage, in the amount of 80 or 120 g of insecticide/ha (8-12 g of insecticide per 1000 m2) with a maximum of 2 treatments per growing season;
- in sugar beet: beet flea beetle (Chaetocnema tibialis) and sugar beet weevil (Bothynoderes punctiventris) in the amount of 125 g/ha (12,5 g per 1000 m2) with only one treatment per growing season;
- in tobacco: aphids (Aphididae) in the amount of 125 g/ha (12,5 g of insecticide per 1000 m2) and onion thrips (Thrips tabaci) in the amount of 300 g/ha (30 g of insecticide per 1000 m2) with a maximum of 2 treatments per growing season;
MOSPILAN 20 SG must not be mixed with preparations containing copper or dodine as an active ingredient.
MOSPILAN 20 SG is not toxic for plants if used in the recommended amounts and ways described.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD AND RESTRICTED ENTRY INTERVAL
7 days for potato, 35 days for tobacco and sugar beet. The REI amounts to 24 hours. Do not let farm animals graze for 14 days.
Aerial application is not allowed.
Do not treat during blooming and when bees are flying. Avoid contact of the dried preparation with bees.
Only treat after bee flight.
EFFECT ON USEFUL ORGANISMS
Application of the insecticide does not pose a danger to earthworms or the microbiological activity of the soil.
